Controlling your text With the Add Effect button active, you can control the text in your bulleted list: To set animation in a bulleted list: Select the line of text you want to animate. Once a line is selected, the Add Effect button becomes active. Using the downward-pointing arrow to the right of each category to: Decide if you want this animation to occur On the Click , With Previous , or After Previous Select the Direction the animation will occur direction options will differ depending on the animation Choose a Speed for the animation To make changes to an animation, simply locate the number of the animation you wish to change and use the downward-pointing arrow to the right of that numbered animation.

Open the presentation you would like to continue working on. Add an Entrance effect to the title on the first slide of your presentation. Have the text Fly In. Set the speed and direction. Have the text come in from the left, very fast. Save your changes. Select the second slide. Apply the same Entrance effect to the title of this slide as you did for the first slide.

Adding animation to your bulleted lists and slides can increase interest and excitement by displaying text at crucial moments and making smooth transitions between topics. You can add animation while in the Normal or Slide Sorter views. For an alternate method of adding animation, refer to Custom Animation below. With your presentation open, from the View menu, select Normal.
